I love the white label capabilities of the Avada Branding plugin, but it hasn’t received any updates in a while and it is lacking in some key areas. I recently discovered Ultimate Dashboard Pro (affiliate link – there is a free version) and it adds some very nice touches and control over the environment.

UPDATE: If you use some of the basic features this is a great plugin, but some of the options interfere with the layout of other plugins — in particular any plugin that has a left panel as well such as Scripts Organizer and Happy Files.

Login Screen

This was one of my favorite parts of the bundled plugin, but Ultimate Dashboard adds several key features – custom layout, replacing the icon URL (I had to use a script for this), custom redirects, and just better overall control.

Menu management

With this plugin, you can rearrange and add or remove items from the navigation as well as customize the menu bar. Management of the menu is role-based. You can also modify the theme of the menu bar and add your own logo with a custom URL.

The Dashboard

As you would expect based on the name, you can modify the dashboard. You can remove all or some of the default widgets and add your own.

If you want to see more, Paul Charlton over at WPTuts has a very good video showing this plugin and a couple of others.
